Long time since i last blogged.
Anyway, this week had been a busy week.
A hectic week on tuesday as i have to rush for three tuition assignments. My gosh, I think i must have walked quite a long distance on tuesday in order to save some bus fare. Our bus fare is no longer 45 cents. =[ A few stops to around JJC will cost me about 75 cents! Sorry for grumbling. But well, tuition needs to travel, so i have been walking some distance to save some fare.

Anyway, this week i had met two new students. Both students are from china but of different homes. The P5 girl is really weird. I mean she kept joking at me, or rather shoot me back with my words. I think she is playing with me la, but i guess i have to be firm next time round to be able to teach her. What shocked me was that they actually learn P O E M S at the age of 11! I mean, i have to interpret the poems for her. Thank god, i studied literature before. If not, the first lesson would have shaken me thus. But, did we learn literature at primary 5 in our generation? I think my first approach towards lit was only in secondary one.

As for the other boy, I think my tuition experience with him did improve my attitude towards tuitioning. For one, he is very good to teach. I mean i teach what, he learnt. At least no attitude problems. =]] PLus, the mother is also very considerate and stuff, giving me drinks at every lesson. I mean, it made the tuitioning job easier.

For one, I would love to teach students to improve their grades provided they have the attitude to listen and learnt. That would really make my job easier. But, nothing is perfect in this world. I also have to learnt how to cope with students with problems.

As for a primary one student, I really hope anyone can find me a solution to his problems. I taught him what he needs to know. He knows it but he just don't want to pick up his pen and write down. I am very sure he knows, but he don't want to do. What can i do? In the end, his sister scolded him loudly and even force him to correct whatever wrong words he had purposely written. I mean, her actions and its effect really appalled me.It is like she has suddenly become the tuition teacher. haha. I then learnt from the sis her way of forcing her bro to learn. BUt, is this going to be a long-term solution?I am really not so sure.

Well, enough about my complaints in my tuition jobs.

Anyway,Chinese New year is coming soon. It is great that we are able to go back to Msia to celebrate for one whole week. I mean mum would greatly love it since she is able to chat with other aunts as freely as she wants instead of being cooped up in the house all day long. Grandma's house is definitely going to be lively during new year. It has always been so, i guess. I hope this year too. =]

I met up with xian and jingmin on wednesday and thursday respectfully. I finally met up with xian to eat my long awaited LJS. It was a nice trip talking to her even though we went somewhere near. haha. I think she missed her colleagues at IMM and we kept circling the restaurant to peek at them . haha. Somehow, it sort of reminded me the time when i worked at Bossini and there was always this unknown urge to go and peek at them when it is your day off. So, i guess, there was some memory flashback. =]

Thursday I went shopping with jingmin. ( F6, no jealous yea? , that's what jingmin said)haha. It was a trip to buy new year clothes. PLus, minmin is the same as i. We are considered "wu ye you min",well, it isn't bad that we met up. I bought some tees and a dress. Jingmin bought a shirt which you seldom see her wearing it but is really nice. Just that she feels it is not worth it.Nonetheless, we shopped quite long and i gave her the agency number to get some tuition jobs. For one thing, I miss school lots.
