I am back from o1 camp. The feeling is like so tired.

I think this orientation camp is really special. In a way, i am running it in a perspective i have never seen before. :] To others, it seemed that orientation is a time where you can interact with the campers. But, that is not the case when you are attaches !!! Haa.

Food attach was i. Together with 9 others i guessed. We have to serve approx 900 people. So it is like 1 is to 9. -.-""

I think i hate dealing with the stress during the lunch and dinner hours. ahhh!! It is like so fast and you hear the business of everyone. Initially, i heard from aaron that food attach was slack. But that wasn't the case if you are doing food attach for orientation 1. haa =]

But through this camp i think i learn that there are always sweats of people at the back of every event which makes it seems beautiful.That's the case of 01. while campers are enjoying the camp events, food attaches are busy preparing food and games attaches are busy preparing games. Not much of us are able to spend more time with them. Ya. It takes sweats of a certain group of people to make an event successful and fun !!!

Well, let's talk about the camp. ^^

Day 1 was admin day and ogls have to bunk in at school. So we stayed for a total of 4 days 3 nights. The first day was not bad. We learn from another aaron about the welcome cheer. iT STARts wiTH " WELCOME TO JJ, THIS WAY PLS!!". tHE action of this welcome cheer is really good and cute. =]I like it too. Family one (my family and i am from og 5 !!) have to stayed at the concourse and welcome them. =]] After which, i was busy ushering them. One camper whom i remembered much was this camper who came to the wrong og of mine. and he is from JVs. hIS name is kalib.

yaya~ that's it. I forgot much about admin day.

I WAsn't really always with my campers. Everyday is like we only have one hour or half an hour break to mingle and chat with our campers. -.- Is that enough? I don't know. But the food point that we have is almost becoming our home / camp area. It is as though we are 24 hours there. haa. Jean , our food i/c is having the worst time too. She is like cannot change clothes for the first day.. - smell it, and you will know. ^^

This is the main food point, "the headquarter". The rest are at the PE porch and outside Kbox. This is the busiest station as we are serving 3 families. There were only 5 of us here. ( xian, aaron , yunxiang, jean and i)

I think xian is right. It is difficult to differentite between lunch and dinner. haa. the thing is that we are always doing it. yup. Anyway, being a food attach let me know alot of people, especially the seniors. ( I don't remember their names but i remembered their faces.)They helped us out during day 1 dinner. It was really tiring. I think dinner for both day 1 and 2 is the worst i ever had. For day 1 dinner, i was rushing to get plates for the headquarters as some of the food attaches has taken the wrong number of plates . As such, there was a lack of plates at the headquarters. yaa. -.- After which when i returned, everyone was asking about vegeterian food!!! There were lots of questions about vegeterian food being posted to all attaches. Jean had already asked yunxiang to get it but he was taking long to be back. So, she asked me to run to the block 500 + market to get it from yunxiang. I think she called the wrong person to go. The thing is i am a slow runner with a lousy stamina. I was panting and running alittle all the way. Then, when i reached, i couldn't run fast much less to help him to carry the 20 boxes of vegetarian food. -.-"" so he carried it himself, and i carried his pouch for him. -.- what de!! ya. I find myself redundant. But that was the worst of dinner 1.

For dinner 2, we thought we had everything ready. Suddenly, i think we haven't include other seniors who suddenly appeared. Plus, the games attaches hadn't had their lunch yet, so there was a serious shortage of food. Everyone needs to eat to prepare for JJ night. So, there was really a very stressful period. -.- After which we quickly transfer all the food from other food points to the head quarters. =]

This was day 2 dinner and we had a senior who helped us to stack up food. ya. ( sorry, most photos are grabbed from xian) I didn't photographed much.

He was superb!! He could set up 9 cm of food!!You may think that it is enough. But that was not the case. All these piles of food were gone the moment a family arrived. -.-

This was also day 2 dinner with xiaohua and her friend helping for awhile.Seems peaceful?? You shall know later!

I think this reminds me of a chinese proverb saying that it is always peaceful before a crisis come.

I think we were all in sweat and stuff. Attaches from other food spots are also as busy i guessed. we are tired. -.-

Anyway, moments when food attaches are allowed to bond with their og are during food times, 45 mins during jj night, 30 mins during kinetic warfare and the last few hours when we doing eweb. woah. cool?? I guessed so. we should be called helpers instead of ogls, i think. Don't know why, but i think that's a better term. ^^
When given time to join back ogs like during mass dance, we food attaches dance with ourselves. It was quite fun too. :)

Hmmm, i think i crap alot with my og members. They are quite nice. They always welcome me with their smiles and hug me at times. That is really heartwarming. It makes my wrinkles and tiredness all disappears!! whenever there was time to bond with my og, i always test them what is my name. Just in case they forgets. haa. But all the tests goes to show that they have not failed. haha.

It was torn at the side and i fumbled with it. haa. xD

There are times when i talked with my og and there was some silence as i couldn't come up with a topic. Hence, crapping was the easiest way to ease the silence. My og only have 5 guys. I remembered them too. Bryan may have some medical condition, but i think he is the one who gave full participation in cheering and carrying the positive attitude. ^^ Likes him loads. Hope he do enjoy the camp as he left early. =] Then ya. Yong meng may looked nerd on the outside but is actually quite cool la. A big contrast with yew tong who seemed cool on the outside but i think he should be a nice person if i knew him well. kean yong is one guy who craps alot and i always listen and crap back. Shou jun is one guy whom i welcome him and he gave me a nice hug during eweb. For the girls, yiqi and jingwen ( her name lies ironically with her character ) ^^ are 2 girls who are full of enthusisam and cheers the most, i think. peishin and xiuwen always crap with each other. Hsiang ju always smiles and talk with me. I think she looked similiar to one of my secondary friend( xingyi)/. ^^Cindy, winnie and wanqing are really quiet girls but they are cute. Enhui is cute too but i am sad that i didn't notice she was getting rashes. Couldn't have time to take care of her. I liked wanrou's hair and guiping smiles nice and looked familiar. ^^ Lynette, sherie, cynthia , liling smiles at me whenever i sees them. haa. Opps. i guessed there is no more. cant rmb le.. haha.

They are cute J1s. Hope they enjoy JJC and keep the JJ spirit going~~

Hmm, i think from this orientation i also know alot of ogls . Some ogls whom i know by face cox they kept coming food point to take food and helped serve food. ^^ ya.. blar blar..

So, when shirlyn and i went bathing on the 2nd night and companying me to take scotchtape to bind my sandals( the straps broke) at there, i sit down there like nobody's business. =p

This was a photo taken with huimin, an ogl from og 2 whne some ogls went to have lunch on the last day of camp. we ate KFC and gossips from 3 + to 7pm. cool right? I think i am a great listener. The gossips that we talked about are real interesting. haa. =]
